Tom

Tom Pessah has a long history of causing trouble, from Tel Aviv to California. Don’t let his kind, respectful, and unimposing tone fool you–this sociologist has more degrees than arguments you will ever win against him. Before you even press “submit” on your comment, Tom will have a dozen citations waiting for you.

Itamar

Itamar Haritan is between lives. Between the Israeli settlements where he grew up and the south Bay Area suburbs where he grew up some more.  After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Anthropology, now the question of ‘what is to be done?’ echoes and requires response. For Haritan, Borderline Crimes is an attempt at integrating disparate things in the hopes of creating something new.

yaman

Yaman Salahi recently graduated from the West coast madrassa known as UC Berkeley, where he studied rhetoric; or, how to do things with words. Soon to be a first year law student, he has fantasies of subpoenaing war criminals and profiteers, soul-crushing corporations, and shady government officials to no end, until he is disbarred. Then he will open a surreal but lively café where he will train the next generation of madrassa grads and activist lawyers when he is taking breaks from Woody Allen movies.
